This girl is strong, smart, and COMMITTED. She is never one to shy away from hard work and recently won our 6 week nutrition challenge. She gained muscle tone and confidence, all while losing a total of 14.6lbs and 7 1/2in total from her waist and hips.

Alethea attacks all challenges with a constant mindset of “Progress, not Perfection.” This allows her to learn new skills and see RESULTS.

When she’s not at Bellum, she enjoys a whole host of physical activities, including Pickleball (ask her about it next time you see her!), and on the weekends, you may run into her at Tonewood.

Alethea – we are SO glad you made the decision to permanently join our Bellum family. Thank you for your kindness, for always making us coaches laugh, and for being a great example of how a positive mentality and lots of practice can facilitate amazing progress.

What is your favorite CrossFit Movement?:  My favorite is anything that uses a kettlebell.  😉

What is something you love about CrossFit and Bellum?:  I love the coaches. They are great at breaking down and teaching complex movements, keeping us motivated, and making it fun.  Not to mention the fact that they are just wonderful human beings.

What is your favorite Out-of-the-Gym Activity?:  Pickleball! Before you laugh I say:  Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!

What is your favorite CrossFit Workout?:   I remember that “Annie” WOD was the jam. It’s a descending ladder (love those) involving two of my favorite things (jump rope and sit-ups) …and NO burpees!

What’s Your Current Gym Goal?  I’m still working toward my first pull-up. Getting double-unders would be nice, too. Also, improving my form (and weight!) with the barbell.

What’s Your “Why”? Obviously staying fit is important to your health and well-being and all, but let’s get real… I love food. I exercise so I can eat! I’m also one of those lucky weirdos that actually thinks it’s fun.  I think everyone has it in them to enjoy exercise, it’s just a matter of finding the right fit.
